Liverpool striker Fernando Torres will meet with new boss Roy Hodgson to hold talks about his future at Anfield.
Currently representing Spain at the World Cup, Torres admitted his focus was on helping his nation lift the trophy but said talks about him remaining as a Reds player were imminent.
"I haven't had a chat with him yet but I will talk with him soon and we will see his ideas about the future,” he said.
"My future is here in South Africa. The World Cup is too important to think after that.
"I will talk with him soon. I have a very important week still here and after that I will have time to talk with him about my future.”
