Israeli Superkid Altman Handed Trials At Anfield

Israeli teenager Omri Altman has joined Liverpool on trial in the hope of impressing manager Roy Hodgson. The 16-year-old attacking midfielder is with Maccabi Tel Aviv and hopes to follow in the footsteps of compatriots Avi Cohen, Ronny Rosenthal, Eyal Berkovic and Yossi Benayoun after impressing Liverpool scouts.
