Blackpool's Charlie Adam scored against Liverpool last month (Reuters) The 24-year-old is currently involved in a row with his Bloomfield Road club over unpaid bonuses. Adam claims he is still owed £20,000 for helping the Tangerines avoid Championship relegation – and clinch promotion to the Premier League – last season. There are reports the Scottish midfielder could use the unpaid bonus as an excuse to leave Blackpool and Liverpool appear keen on taking advantage of the situation. Hodgson saw his side lift themselves out of the relegation zone at the weekend with a 1-0 win over Bolton.
