Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina
is confident Fernando Torres
will rediscover the form that
marks him as one of the most
feared strikers on the planet.
Torres' performances had come
under scrutiny prior to the groin
strain he sustained in the
opening minutes of his club's
infamous defeat to Blackpool
earlier in October.
The injury was a repeat of those
that have plagued the Spaniard
in the last 12 months, restricting
him from finding the goalscoring
highs of his earlier years at
Anfield.
But compatriot Reina thinks
Torres, who Liverpool boss Roy
Hodgson hopes will be fit for
Sunday's Merseyside derby
against Everton, will soon be
back to his best.
"Fernando is one of the best
strikers in the world," the shot-
stopper told Liverpool's official
website.
"As soon as he is fit once again,
and he's working on that, he will
be shining once again for us.
"The team is good enough to
start winning games. It's a
difficult situation but we have to
stick together and work hard to
turn it around."
