Liverpool In Benzema Hunt

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is being linked with Liverpool. The presence of Reds boss Roy Hodgson in the stands for France's victory over Romania last week, sparked transfer speculation in Paris that he was making a check on Benzema. Hodgson has made no secret that he wants to buy a new striker in January and armed with the money provided by new club owners, NESV, he has the spending power to bring Benzema to Anfield. The France striker also remains a long-term target for Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
