Liverpool are ready to entertain would-be buyers for their opening game of the season against Arsenal.
The Mail on Sunday says Chinese tycoon Ken Huang, Syrian rival Yahya Kirdi and unpopular owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks could all be in the directors’ box with Liverpool chairman and deal broker Martin Broughton.
Liverpool are still waiting for interest from up to four consortiums to translate into a firm offer.
Besides Huang, who is reportedly funded by the government-backed Chinese Investment Corporation (CIC), and Kirdi, there has been interest from New York investment company The Rhone Group and a group from Dubai.
