Liverpool Target Loic Remy May Not Have Any Option Afterall

Despite the tug-of-war battle between Liverpool and West Ham for striker Loic Remy , the Frenchman could opt to stay in his homeland and move from Nice to either Lyon or Bordeaux.
West Ham recently upped their offer from £12million to £13million for the 23-year-old after Nice, unhappy with the Hammers' proposal to pay them in four installments, said Liverpool could have the striker if they matched the east Londoners' initial bid.  Liverpool reportedly made a counter offer including Nabil El Zahr and Damien Plessis as a makeweight in a deal.
However, Remy could be tempted to stay in France and reject offers from both the Hammers and the Anfield club, with Lyon and Bordeaux also keen to sign the striker.
Lyon are Remy's former club who let him go in 2008 and have since seen him score regularly for Nice.  They can offer Remy the prospect of Champions League football next season, while Bordeaux also regularly challenge towards the top of the table.
Remy has one international cap to his name.
