Il Romanista in Italy is reporting that Premier League trio Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City are preparing bids for Roma's out of favour forward Julio Baptista.
The Brazilian is not part of coach Claudio Ranieri's plans for next season and it seems almost certain that he will leave the Rome club.
Baptista had a spell on loan from Real Madrid at Arsenal a few years ago, and it is believed that Roy Hodgson wants the player at Anfield.
According to the paper, Tottenham are the favourites for Baptista's signature considering they have Champions League football next season, but there has also been interest from some Greek clubs, particularly Olympiakos.
"The Beast," as he is known from his time in Spain, could be available for £6million.
