Carra: A Win Is A Win

Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool can use their late Bolton triumph as the catalyst to begin a winning run that fires them into the upper echelons of the Barclays Premier League. The Reds moved out of the bottom three courtesy of Maxi Rodriguez's 86th minute strike and are now just three points behind fifth-placed Tottenham. The vice-captain admits it wasn't one of Liverpool's better displays at the Reebok Stadium but is hopeful they can now build on back-to-back wins and reinvigorate their season. "We'll have to see what happens in the weeks to come but it's just nice to be out of that bottom three," he said. "We've been in there a while and it's been difficult to look at the table. We know the league is tight and in the weeks to come hopefully we can get even further up the table. "We can't look at other sides, we've got to go on a run ourselves. We haven't made a good start but there's still a long way to go and if we can get a few wins hopefully we can climb towards the top of the table. "It's only a couple of results but we know that winning can breed confidence. It was a tough game. It wasn't a great performance. We played very well last week, but this week we dug in and these are the type of games we've been losing, so it was nice to win." He added: "I don't think anyone deserved to win to be honest. There weren't too many chances. It's always a difficult game here at Bolton. Kevin Davies had a header that could have won it for them and then ours went in. It was a very tight game but that's the Barclays Premier League for you."
