Stars Set To Return Against Sunderland

Steven Gerrard, Fernando
Torres, Joe Cole and Jose Reina
will all return to the Liverpool
team that entertains
Sunderland at Anfield on
Saturday.
The Reds are trying to come to
terms with their Carling Cup loss
to Northampton Town, with
none of the players that started
that match expected to feature
against Steve Bruce's side.
Dirk Kuyt could return from a
shoulder injury, though defender
Fabio Aurelio is still injured.
Titus Bramble is expected to start
despite being questioned during
the week on suspicion of rape,
Kieran Richardson and Anton
Ferdinand both suffered injuries
against West Ham and miss out.
Also missing is John Mensah
(calf), though Michael Turner is
back in training.
Record buy Asamoah Gyan is a
doubt with a hamstring injury,
although captain Lee Cattermole
is back from a two-game
suspension.
Fraizer Campbell is facing six
months out after undergoing
knee surgery and David Meyler
(also knee) is a long-term
casualty.
