Liverpool Tracking Spanish Starlet Juanmi

Last weekend 17-year old Juanmi Jiménez scored twice for Spanish club Málaga in their 5-3 victory over Real Zaragoza.

This made him the youngest player in La Liga history to score two goals in one game.

Following this performance it has been rumoured he is now a transfer target for Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as a number of Premiership clubs.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are tracking the player due to the youngsters potential to be an excellent striker in the future.

Jiménez has recently signed a five year contract with Málaga, which means he would not come cheaply.

The contract he has signed has a buyout clause of 10 million euros, which would probably be enough to scare of any strapped for cash clubs.

Chelsea are the favourites to sign the youngster amongst the English clubs, though the players alledged desire to remain in Spain could mean that Real Madrid and Barcelona are more likely suitors.
