Dalglish: I Am A Kid At Heart

Kenny Dalglish admits he has
loved his first year back at
Liverpool - even if he struggles
to keep up with some of the
club's young hopefuls on the
training pitch.
The King returned to the
Academy last year in an
ambassadorial role, but he is
occasionally invited on to the
grass by the coaches.
In an exclusive interview with LFC
TV's Academy Review show to be
aired at 6.30pm BST on Thursday,
Dalglish said: "I've really enjoyed
the first year back.

"Being amongst the kids,
watching them play and train is
rewarding in itself. When they do
something that they've worked
on in training it's great. Frank
McParland has done a fantastic
job in the change over.
"I get a wee chance to join in a
game of five-a-side. You're only a
kid at heart.
"I know what I want to do but I
can't always get there. The
memory is there but the function
is not too clever!"
