Tottenham have ruled out selling Peter Crouch.
The London Evening Standard says Tottenham have told Liverpool and Everton that Crouch is not for sale after manager Harry Redknapp reassured the striker that he will play a major role for the club this season.
Crouch, who joined Spurs from Portsmouth for £9million last year, has been targeted by both Merseyside clubs, with Redknapp under pressure from chairman Daniel Levy to sell some players in order to bring new signings in.
The 29-year-old is one of four international strikers already at White Hart Lane and Spurs have made signing another forward one of their priorities, with Craig Bellamy top of Redknapp's wish-list.
But the Spurs boss remains a huge admirer of the England man and sees him as providing the side with a different option in attack.
