Reds Ready To Negotiate Kuyt Price With Inter

Liverpool are reportedly prepared to negotiate with Inter Milan over the sale of Dutch international Dirk Kuyt.
IMScouting.com understands that Inter - under the stewardship of former Reds boss Rafa Benitez - have tabled a cash-plus-player offer to tempt the Merseysiders into letting Kuyt leave Anfield.
The initial offer - which Liverpool are believed to have rejected - is thought to have consisted of £7.5 million plus Nigeria forward Victor Obina - who has a transfer value of around £7 million. However, despite rebuffing this bid, the Anfield club are reportedly willing to engage in further discussions.
Kuyt was signed by Benitez for £10 million in 2006 after catching the Spaniard's eye thanks to some prolific goalscoring for Dutch club Feyenoord.
During his first season in England, the 30-year-old quickly won himself into the hearts of the Reds faithful; scoring the decisive spot-kick in their penalty shootout victory against Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final, before notching a consolation goal against AC Milan in the final.
Originally plying his trade as a striker, Kuyt has demonstrated his versatility by operating as a winger for the majority of his Anfield stay.
The former Utrecht forward has made 70 appearances for his country, scoring 16 goals
