Liverpool Target Remy Close To Stoke Deal

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is anxious about closing a deal for Loic Remy as soon as possible.

The Daily Mail says Stoke have shaken hands with Nice on a fee for Remy and the France striker was given a guided tour of the Britannia Stadium and the club’s training ground this week.

Pulis is bracing himself for late attempts by Tottenham, West Ham and Liverpool to hijack the deal.

Remy said: "For me this is good. I want to play here. I am not signing, it’s just for a visit."
