Aldridge: Liverpool Must Bring A Striker

While it’s clear we need another striker I’m comfortable with the left-back situation.
Daniel Agger was superb there against Arsenal. It’s not ideal for him because he’ll want to play in the centre of defence, but he can certainly do a job until the manager finds what he wants.
Fabio Aurelio has returned to the club and can play there, plus Martin Kelly is a fantastic prospect.
Kelly has shown how adequate he is right across the back four and I’m certain the lad is going to be a fantastic Liverpool player.

He’s not out of place at left-back whatsoever and could potentially save the club a lot of money.
Even Jamie Carragher can play there if required.
For me, it’s much more important we bring a striker in.
