Reason One: No World Class Striker Bought To Share Attack

It has been frustrating. Torres has time and again been left stranded up front due to lack of some real fire power which the Reds lacked.
Moreover, Torres has always made his desire to partner better quality players last season. All of that has fallen on deaf ears.
Other than a few outlying rumors Liverpool have really been linked with average or untested players.
Moreover players like Crouch are no longer world class strikers, like the ones Liverpool FC needs. There have talks of Loic Remy in ways much hyped than it should really be. Remy is no Theirry Henry till he has proved himself and honestly at 23 he should be a bigger sensation than what he is to make people buy what ever his agent has to say.
After being promised some better buys this window, Torres has every reason to ask for time before one is actually bought.
Just like Gerrard made his commitment after Joe Cole was signed to partner him, Torres also is rightfully awaiting a good striker or at least promising to be signed before making his commitment to the club.
Surely, no player of Torres' quality would love to play with N'gog upfront year after year!
