Liverpool are set to swoop for Nice striker Loic Remy and snare his signature from under the noses of West Ham United.
Reds boss Roy Hodgson has reportedly thrown in a £12million bid for the 23-year old Frenchman and is keen to have the deal completed in the next few days.
Remy has attracted heavy interest from the Hammers who had come back with an improved offer after their first one was rejected and Tottenham were also believed to be set to pursue him.
But it seems as though Remy may end up at Anfield with the Liverpool board prepared to bring him in to develop him into a star.
