Liverpool striker Fernando Torres is facing the Spanish axe.
And that could increase the frustrated Liverpool striker's desire to move to a new club before the season kicks off.
Torres has had a miserable World Cup campaign so far and has not scored in any of Spain's five games.
The Anfield hotshot, 26, failed to make the starting line-up for the European champions' opener against Switzerland and was substituted against Honduras, Chile, Portugal and the quarter-final with Paraguay.
Now Spain boss Vincente Del Bosque is considering leaving out Torres against Germany in Durban - despite him banging in 22 goals for the Reds last season.
Cesc Fabregas is hoping to start in the semis. That happens if Torres doesn't start.
