Chelsea Confident Benayoun Will Convince Torres To Move To Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are convinced the presence of Yossi Benayoun will help them in their pursuit of Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.
The London Evening Standard says Chelsea feel they are in a strong position and not just because they can offer him Champions League football next season as well as a better opportunity of winning silverware.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti has already succeeded in bringing Benayoun from Anfield in a £5.5m deal and Torres is close friends with the Israel international.
They roomed together while team-mates at Liverpool and it is understood the 26-year-old is disappointed the midfielder has left the club.
Torres is also a huge fan of the former West Ham star's abilities and always preferred it when he was in the starting XI under former coach Rafael Benitez.
In an interview last year, Torres admitted: “Yes, for me he should always play because I need a player like him with quality in the pass and always looking forward, looking for the striker. I always say to him that if I was the manager he'd always play with me.”
