Cole Doubtful For Chelsea Clash

Joe Cole could miss out on an emotional reunion with Chelsea next weekend after limping out of Liverpool's win over Bolton Wanderers. A hamstring injury picked up during today's victory at the Reebok Stadium has seriously threatened the 28-year-old's chances of lining up against his former employers next weekend. Cole will undergo a scan to determine the extend of the injury tomorrow and manager Roy Hodgson is hopeful that the midfielder will recover in time to take on the reigning Premier League champions, where he spent seven years, at Anfield next Sunday. He said: "Joe has a slight hamstring injury so he will have a scan tomorrow. "Hopefully he will be ok but I can't say how long he will be out until we get the results of the scan. "Often these muscle injuries always seem to take ten days to two weeks, but I know Joe will be keen to be fit for Chelsea next weekend. We'll have to wait and see."
