Peter Lim Expects Liverpool To Consider His Bid

Peter Lim has responded to
suggestions that Liverpool
Football Club is now going ot be
sold to NESV.
Following the High Court ruling
that Tom Hicks and George Gillett
are unable to block any sale of
the club, chairman Martin
Broughton refused to comment
on the sale.
Singapore billionaire Lim made
an increased offer of £360m
(including £40m for players) for
the club as they went to court on
Tuesday, but it has yet to be
considered by the board who
will meet on Wednesday evening.
"I am asking the board to run a
full and fair process that enables
all of the offers to be considered
on their merits before the future
of the club is decided," he said.
