Udinese Hint At Inler Approach By Liverpool

Udinese chief Fabrizio Larini has
confirmed Liverpool's interest in
Gokhan Inler.
The Switzerland midfielder
admitted Liverpool were keen on
the player during the summer.
And Larini said last night: "His
name never seems far from the
transfer rumours. For Inler there
was involvement from a couple
of big clubs, including foreigners.
But it was talk only."
Udine sources say the foreign
clubs involved were Liverpool
and Steve McClaren's Wolfsburg.
