Late Fitness Tests For Aurelio And Konchesky

Roy Hodgson will give late
fitness tests to Paul Konchesky
and Fabio Aurelio ahead of the
Europa League clash with
Steaua Bucharest.
Both defenders are struggling
with hamstring and Achilles
injuries respectively and both will
be given late tests.
Hodgson will definitely be
without Dirk Kuyt who is out
with a shoulder injury and with
the clash at Old Trafford looming
on the horizon he has to decide
whether to rest captain Steven
Gerrard and striker Fernando
Torres, who has endured a
difficult start to the season.
"It is up to me to try to choose a
team which will win the game
and possibly give some of the
players who are needed to play
against Manchester United a
well-deserved break," said
Hodgson.
