Babel Accepts His Bad Performance Over Twitter

Liverpool forward Ryan Babel has
admitted on his twitter page that
he failed to perform against
Northampton Town in the Carling
Cup third round tie last night:
“No excuses for last nite, we
weren’t good enough. And I
failed personally. Haven’t lost
faith, so I keep working.”
Babel, who was substituted by
Jonjo Shelvey in extra time, has
until January, according to Roy
Hodgson, to convince him that he
deserves to stay at Anfield, and
he will have to perform better in
future matches if he doesn ’t
want to depart in the next
