West Brom Still Keen To Sign Ngog

West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo is still chasing Liverpool striker David Ngog but any move depends on the Reds transfer dealings.

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson revealed earlier in the summer that the young Frenchman would be going nowhere unless he had a suitable replacement in place, which seemed to put an end to the speculation linking him with the Baggies.
However, Di Matteo has revealed he is still seeking to bring the forward to the Hawthorns and remains optimistic a deal can be completed.
He said: "Ngog is a player we've been linked with and we are working on that one. We're trying. It's ongoing. We are looking at a number of players we would like to sign."
It has been suggested Liverpool would be willing to allow Ngog to leave for a fee of around £6million, although a season long loan deal appears a more likely option as Ngog has impressed in pre-season, and bagged a brace in the first leg of Liverpool's Europa League qualifier against Macedonian side FK Rabotniki.
