Liverpool Defender Kyrgiakos Retires From International Football

Sotirios Kyrgiakos has announced his retirement from international football with Greece.Speaking on his official website, Liverpool's No.16 said: "The Greek National Team was one of the most important chapters in my career.

"At this time I would like to close this chapter. I want to wish all the best to the Greek National Team...."

Kyrgiakos represented Greece during this summer's World Cup in South Africa.
