Hodgson Admits Need Of Selling Fringe Players

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson admits he needs to sell to bring his squad into line with the Premier League's new quotas.

Hodgson admitted most of his remaining transfer activity could involve players leaving.

He said: "The bulk of the work has been done. The major changes will be players needing to leave because of the new 25-man rule. We've got too many players who, if they don't make the 17 foreign-man allowance, are not going to want to play in the reserve team for the rest of the season."
