Fan View: Reds Set To Mark Independence Day Treat In India- By Ashish Kamath

Its August 15th and along with the country wide Independence Day celebration there is another big occasion which will be launched a few hours after the parade at New Delhi and will be launched at Anfield, Liverpool where two big guns will go head to head in front of THE KOP and all the emotions, aggression, flow will be on the field for the next 90 mins. After two months of patient waiting and after holding all the anticipation inside our minds we can finally be enthralled to some real high tempo action in the midst of our very own Liverpool Football Club.

The world cup 2010 is now history and attention turns back to the league, the best league on the continent The Barclays Premier League. The criticism of players at the world cup is all forgotten and these players now have a point to prove playing their hearts out for their respective clubs. All eyes will be on Anfield as Liverpool and Arsenal go head to head and get that early psychological advantage with a win.

Liverpool versus Arsenal preview:
Liverpool ever the excited and jumping jelly beans in everyone's stomachs after few well timed and genius signings under the mastermind of Roy Hodgson, this season proves to be a very promising one. What better than to start with a victory over the gunners , with the prospects of Joe Cole and Steven Gerrard stressing their will to do ever the good for the club and start a new chapter under our gaffer Roy Hodgson, every kopite will lift his scarf with pride holding his heads up high and singing aloud the anthem You'll Never Walk Alone pumping every single blood cells to shout their voices out. Every Liverpudlian will go into this game with hopes of 3 points and expecting to get the best out of Joe and Stevie. Arsenal have made a few signings of their own and will certainly have high hopes.

Going into the team news as it is Liverpool looking on the stronger side as compared to the gunners, as Fabregas and Van Persie are doubtfull and few more first team names are absent due to injuries. On the other hand Liverpool have all their players fit though Fernando Torres is certain to start from the bench and likely to come late into the game. Rest of the Liverpool squad looks fine and ready for the crunch battle.

A result for either teams will mean they have made a massive statement in the long run to this season and it does matter a lot for both of them. Herez wishing both these mighty giants the best of luck and offcourse special hearty wishes to Liverpool Red Army, hoping this will be a fabulous season under the new manager. May Anfield erupt and anthem be sounded louder than ever at the final whistle and the RED ARMY TRIUMPH!

Regards and Love
