The Argentina star rates the Spaniard very highly and believes a very powerful partnership could be made if City make a serious play for Torres and bring him to Manchester.
“Torres would definitely make us better. He's one of the top strikers in the world and I would love to have him as a team-mate,” Tevez said.
"Last year we ended up contesting the Champions League places. I have no doubt that this year we will achieve that aim and fight for the title.”
Tevez believes added strength to the playing list will assist the club greatly and insisted he was extremely happy at the City of Manchester Stadium.
"The club will pick up reinforcements and this will make us stronger,” he added.
"I know I've never regretted coming to City. It's the best decision I ever made.”
