Whether Fernando Torres stays or leaves, he is an emotional person and he loves Liverpool FC.
Right from his comments last season whereby he expressed his utmost desire to win something for the fans, to wearing his club scarf after winning the World Cup, Torres has always been an advocate for Liverpool's cause both on and off the pitch.
He famously went onto say last season that the management and the owners should do a lot more for the sake of the club. He said, "these fans deserve trophies".
So if Torres feels that his physical state, which has been pretty fragile, gives way again it would be a deja vu of all that has gone by for so long at the club.
He clearly wants the club to have a better future but if he feels a sense of guilt in not being able to live up to the expectations year after year and with no sense of responsibility shown by the club in that aspect, it may be better for him to bid a tearful goodbye rather than continue on this fearful ride which leads nowhere.
