Ngog Delighted With His Brace

David Ngog today revealed his delight after his superb double ensured Roy Hodgson got off to a winning start as Liverpool manager.
The French striker netted either side of half-time to give the Reds a 2-0 Europa League victory against FK Rabotnicki and then warned that they will still have a job to do when the two sides reconvene at Anfield next Thursday.
"It's very good for me to score," Ngog told Liverpoolfc.tv. "But the most important thing tonight was to win the match.
"We did well and it is good for the confidence of the team - but nothing has been decided yet. We still have to play the second leg. Part of the job is done and we are confident we can progress if we play to our level.
"We have played two friendly games and we are not 100 per cent fit yet, but we are improving all the time.
"We are always looking to work harder and with more training we can improve further."
Ngog's lethal finishing put the seal on what proved to be a confident Liverpool performance in Skopje and he was quick to pay tribute to the teammates who provided him with the key assists.
"The first came from a free-kick when I saw some space beyond the defender. Lucas played a good ball towards me and I was lucky to finish.
"Kelly did really well for the second goal too and gave me a great cross.
"I think we played well in attack and it was nice to link up with Aquilani. He's a really good player and I enjoyed playing with him. He is very clever and has a good quality of pass. He sees the game very well."
