Reports say Liverpool have accepted a £4.5million offer for unsettled winger Riera from Olympiakos with the deal likely to be completed today, and Roy Hodgson also confirmed he is ready to offload out of favour Swiss defender Philipp Degen.
The new boss is also hoping to tempt Sami Hyypia back to the club with an offer to become a player-coach at Anfield.
