Joe Cole Is Liverpool's New No. 7

Cole turned down the option of staying in London - and playing Champions League football - with either Spurs or Arsenal to join new manager Roy Hodgson at Anfield.
And the former Fulham boss will show real faith in the England international by handing him the shirt number made famous by the likes of Kop legends Kenny Dalglish, Kevin Keegan, and Peter Beardsley.
The number had previously been reserved for some of the most talented and skillful players to have graced Liverpool FC, although Cole may well be wary of the stigma - especially as the last couple of players to take on the No.7 have underachieved.
The last player to take the shirt was Robbie Keane, who spent an unhappy six months at the club before returning to former side Spurs.
Before that, Australian international Harry Kewell was the recipient - although his Reds career was characterised by a series of injuries and fitness issues.
