The speedy Moroccan winger has come to the attention of Seasiders boss Ian Holloway who is trialling a handful of players as he goes about strengthening his squad for the top flight.
23-year old El Zhar has had a very small amount of first team opportunities since arriving at Anfield as a teenager in 2006 so a loan deal to another Premier League club may be a positive move.
